These films are usually shot in black and white, non-linear storylines with a focus on the bizarre and on actors and text. Use of specific focal lengths with digital and 8mm film stock as well as unusual soundscapes and distortions. An emphasis on in-camera work including miniatures, stop-motion, cloud-tanks, puppets, masques etc. The majority of scripts and characters are set in the same 'universe' that contain three unusual places/dimensions: Kloxalis, YomiKamta and Târamül and the workings of a mysterious group called the Nexcoyomeh. This universe is an alternative to Earth.
